Faceless Business Starter Checklist

15 steps to your
first sale β€” no face required

This is the execution path. Not theory. Work through these phases in order and you'll have a live, sellable product within 30 days.

1
Niche Selection
Days 1–3
Pick 3 candidate niches you'd pay for yourself
Health/fitness, finance, productivity, relationships, hobbies β€” buyer intent matters more than your passion
Validate demand on Etsy β€” search your niche + "template" or "guide"
Sort by "Best seller." If the top results have 500+ sales, there's real buyer intent
Check 2–3 Reddit communities in your niche for recurring pain points
r/[niche] posts asking "how do I…" or "what tool do you use for…" = product ideas
2
Choose Your Product Type
Days 3–5
Pick ONE product format for your first launch
Notion template (fastest), PDF guide/checklist, Canva template pack, or mini email course β€” don't overthink it
Validate your product idea vs. what's already selling
Your product should be more specific than the top results, not more generic
3
Set Up Your $0 Stack
Days 5–7
Create free accounts: Canva, Notion, ChatGPT (free tier is enough)
These three tools cover 90% of faceless product creation. No paid subscriptions needed to start
Set up your anonymous seller account on Gumroad or Etsy
Use a brand name, not your real name. Your store name IS your brand β€” make it niche-specific
4
Build the Product
Days 7–14
Draft your product outline with ChatGPT β€” don't write from scratch
Prompt: "Create a detailed outline for a [product type] targeting [specific niche]. Include 5–7 sections."
Build the product β€” target 80% done, not 100%
Perfect is the enemy of your first sale. Ship something genuinely useful; improve it after revenue
Set your price: $17–$47 for templates, $47–$97 for guides/systems
Underpricing signals low quality. Match the price range of top-selling competitors
5
Launch & Distribution
Days 14–21
Write your product listing copy β€” headline, description, 3 bullet benefits
Lead with the outcome the buyer gets, not the features of the product
Create 3–5 faceless content pieces (Canva graphics, AI-narrated clips, or text posts)
No camera, no voiceover needed. Text-on-screen or stylized graphics convert well on Pinterest and TikTok
Publish your product listing and post to ONE platform first
Pick the platform where your niche audience is most active. Don't try to be everywhere in week one
Share in 2–3 relevant Reddit threads or community forums organically
Don't spam. Answer a question, mention your resource. If it's genuinely useful, it'll get upvoted
